Nothing beyond what your own phone plan charges. Texts are ordinary text messages and calls are ordinary calls, both to a regular US number. If you have unlimited texts and minutes, which most plans do, there is nothing extra at all.
Calling is included, not a premium add-on, and Jamie in particular is worth a phone call rather than a text. There are reasonable-use limits in the background to stop abuse, set high enough that ordinary use will never meet them.
